1 1/2 - 2 pounds ground beef
1 very large onion, very large or 2 medium ones
4 carrots (Peel, slice and dice)
1 pound frozen peas
2 cans Creamed Corn (not whole corn)
potatoes ( make them into mashed potatoes) and set aside (it takes a lot of potatoes if you want a thick layer on top)
Sharp cheese (shred yourself or buy shredded, grated)
1. Fry up the ground beef and drain fat, then add diced onion and fry up a little longer until onion is cooked... take your time don't burn it
2. Dice up the carrots and steam them lightly ... not fully cooked, if you dice them really small you can skip the steaming
3. Put the beef/onion mixutre into a baking pan, add carrots, peas, creamed corn, and mix this up really well....
4. Cover with foil and bake until carrots are cooked through about 1/2 hour - 45 minutes or so
5. Uncover and spread mashed potatoes over the top and sprinkle with grated cheese as much as you want...
6. Cook a little longer maybe about 15 - 20 minutes do not let cheese or potatoes get burned
7. Put on plate and eat... do not eat out of baking pan....
