1 lb. sausage (any kind)
1/2 yellow or white onion, chopped
1 bunch spinach, washed and coarsly chopped
2 large boxes ready-made butternut squash soup
salt and pepper to taste
In large sauce pan, saute onion and sausage until cooked.
Add butternut squash soup and simmer on med-low for a little while so the flavors can mingle. Before serving, add spinach and cook until just tender, about 5 min. Salt and pepper to taste.
