8 bone-in chicken thighs
6 tablespoons flour
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 tablespoons “Hot” sauce
1 tablespoon butter
Preheat oven to 375 degree.
Combine flour, salt, garlic powder and cayenne in plastic bag. Shake to blend then add 4 thighs and shake to coat.
Heat a large skillet over medium high heat.
Add olive oil then add flour coated thighs to pan, sauté for 4 minutes on each side or until brown.
Transfer thighs to cookie sheet then sauté the remainder 4 thighs.
Bake the chicken thighs for 30 minutes.
Combine hot sauce and butter in a microwave-save dish and microwave for 30 seconds on high.
Place chicken in a shallow dish; drizzle with butter sauce.
Toss to coat.
This recipe is from Cooking Light and I wanted to share with you because it’s easy and really good. Cooking Light has you removing the skin from the chicken but I cooked with the skin-on. You can use chicken legs or wings; don’t forget the Blue Cheese dressing for the dipping. Also good cold the next day. Enjoy.
